What Happens at the Crematorium?

Posted on September 16, 2020September 24, 2020 by Lane Daniel

In case you are organizing cremation or attending as a guest, Cortner Chapel is here to help and take you to step by step through what cremation is to fulfill your curiosity.

What is Cremation?

Cremation is a process that converts the remains of the deceased into ashes using high temperatures. According to the scientific definition, this is the decomposition of the human body into its basic elements. These ashes are actually the remains of the bones. Once the cremation process is complete, the remains of the deceased are returned to the family or a friend. Urns are usually used to store these remains, and the remains can weigh about 3-8 pounds. Cremation is performed in a special machine called a cremator, and the building where the whole process takes place is the crematorium.

What happens at the crematorium?

If you have not had any experience with cremation so far, you may be wondering what to expect, how long the whole process takes, and what guests need to know?

Cremation takes about two hours, and the whole process is automated. Modern furnaces have an automatic regularization of process. The coffin is carried to the crematorium and placed on a raised platform. After family and friends gather, they enter the crematorium and wait for the moment when the process will begin. The coffin in which the deceased is placed must be environmental-friendly, which means there are no wood parts and factory coatings. The temperature in the ovens is over 1000 Fahrenheit.

What else do you need to know?

Cremation as a form of burial is regulated by legal acts and there are numerous things that need to be done before cremating the deceased. A person in the course of their life should declare that this is the way they want to be buried, and upon arrival at the crematorium, the staff will make sure to establish the identity of the deceased and to check all the papers. That’s why Cortner Chapel advises you to prepare for this in advance. The body of the deceased is kept in cold chambers before cremation in order to prevent the body from disintegrating.

Benefits of cremation

Awareness of cremation and its benefits is increasingly prevalent among people. In this way, nature is taken into account, and the land is not destroyed. Also, compared to a funeral, and what it takes (costs), cremation is a much more cost-effective option.…

Top 3 Benefits of Using a Virtual Merchant System

Posted on March 2, 2020March 6, 2020 by Lane Daniel

There are a few benefits of using a virtual merchant system.

Access

The first benefit is that you are going to be able to get access to it no matter where you are. This means that it is not going to be bound to a particular device like some of the other devices. Therefore, the merchant is going to be able to use any type of device from anywhere in the world. The merchant will be able to check all of the details of a sale at night when they are no longer at the store. The only thing that they would have to do is to sign into the software on your laptop so that you can see all of the details of the sales that you made inside of the store. It is even possible for you to use it on your smartphone when you download the app.

Maintenance

The second benefit of the virtual merchant system is that it is not going to require a lot of maintenance. It is important to remember that when you own a business, then you are going to have a lot of different burdens on yourself so you are not going to want your POS terminal to break down at any time. This is going to be especially true on a busy day at your store. You are not going to need to have any additional devices in order to use this system besides your computer. This means that you are not going to need to care about any of the maintenance on a particular device. Therefore, you will be able to focus on what you are going to need to do to make sure that you are able to grow your business and make it as successful as possible.

Flexibility

The third benefit is that the system is going to be highly flexible. You have to think about the chance that you could be in the middle of the day and you are taking a credit card payment for a purchase through your system and something goes wrong with it. This is something that you are definitely not going to want to happen. This is because not only are you going to lose the sale but you are also going to make the customer mad, so there is a chance that they are not going to return to your store. Most of the time, the only choice that you are going to have if this happens is to stop the process and call the maintenance department so that they can help you to fix the problem. But if you using this system, then you are going to be able to log out of the system on your smartphone and log into the system with your laptop in order to resume the process that you are doing. This is one of the main reasons why a lot of people are going to love using this type of system for their business.
